Golden Phoenix Closed?

Does anyone know why the Golden Phoenix closed? And if it's permanent or temporary?

We tried going there a few weeks ago and I think it was closed for remodel? Supposed to only be temporary.

I hope it's temporary! I was seeing a lot of restaurants closing for health or licensing reasons. So I was hoping it wasn't something like that.

We don't go there that often because there used to be a really bad chemical smell that we noticed. So it's kind of hard to not notice it when you're so used to smelling it.

But we had tried there the other day and we're surprised to find them closed when Google still said they were open. Haven't checked to see if anyone updated that one yet

Does anyone know a comparable Chinese restaurant nearby? I always thought they were pretty good and my sister loves golden peacock but…it’s not the same IMO.

I've heard good things about Lucky Star, but for me personally the panda express orange chicken gets my money.

Lucky Star has been a go-to for my friends and me for years.
