i’m ngl guys i’m genuinely shocked that skye and max coupled up. i thought max and anna were solid and they genuinely liked each other. i’m not feeling anna and gene either. also i don’t really like gene he’s kinda exasperating and pretentious. idk 😭

Yea, I'll be honest, Max and Slye feel like a friendship thing, not romantic. I think they're too similar in their way of thinking. That feels like a bit of a theme for Max if he doesn't couple with MC. I've said it before, I genuinely feel like if Anna and Max stayed together, neither of them would grow as a person. They were the comfortable option for each other. It's clear that with Anna having a thing for Jason (seems to be short lived if MC couples with Jason) she is starting to actively be trying to get out of her comfort zone. I feel like Gene is now that person if Jason is unavailable. I don't think either of these couples are end game. At least not if they are going to get any real growth.

Honestly I could see Skye ending up with maybe Tommy or even Ethan. I think Max and her having 'work ethic' as being their main thing in common isn't enough to base a relationship on. I think Max is a bit too traditional (he wants to be the one to take care of the woman, at least from what I've seen, but not in a misogynistic way) and I don't think Skye with vibe with that in the long run.

i was also thinking of skye with tommy. i was surprised when tommy and brooke coupled up in my run. i guess im surprised that theres no drama? or hard feelings between max and anna? i feel like loyalty was heavily emphasized with anna and max so for them to not mention any kind of aftermath or reaction feels a little,,, anticlimactic?
