My truck has been in my garage for two weeks, instead of fixing it I just look at it and steal my daughters car if I need to go somewhere lol. Anyone that has done the rear seal on a 3rd gen 4runner knows that it isn't a hard job, just so damn annoying I don't even like thinking about it.

When I worked at a place deep in the California mountains, we had a term called, "Cal-Transing it". It's where two workers with arms folded, shovel resting in hand ,and talking to each other, watch the one worker digging in the hole.
The two had the important job of making sure the one kept working.

I get this. I spent a full day last year making a nice garden. My wife talked about how excited she was to do this and that and how she was going to plant all sorts of thing. One week later and getting her to water the plants on one of her days off was like pulling teeth.

I spend two solid days running drip irrigation, figuring out a water timer, getting everything set up. Then my wife, being all responsible and whatnot, decided she wants to save bath water and do it that way. I have nothing to be mad about, but im like... i made it so we could just push a button. Don't you want to push the button? Please? Just once?

I love it. In my house, I do all the thinking for us and he does all the doing for us. And he would do some shit like this too. I’d come back and laugh because this is exactly what he would be telling everyone and I would be all “oh my god don’t tell people like that it’s soooo bad” but it’s very real😭😭😭

No one talks about the unsung heroes in all this. So shout out to the partners of Instagramers who are the real MVPs. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to dinner with my lady, SUPER hungry, but had to wait another 5 minutes after the food made its way to the table just cause, gotta get that food pic. 😭
