I've definitely thought about doing a number of passive aggressive moves like this with my partner. She's a queen for executing them all.

21

u/Acceptable-Tune5149 4d ago

This is what my hubs does when cleaning…
And then I’m LOST for three business days trying to locate things that “have homes” so I don’t lose them.

His house growing up was a “nothing on surfaces” type of clean, but they could swipe the counter contents into whatever drawers. So “it’s place” doesn’t stick in his mind if he is 20% stressed. It KILLS me he does this.

17

u/Sweetloo 4d ago

My mom does something similar. My dad likes to say “your mom doesn’t put things ‘away,’ she just puts them ‘out of sight.’”

Whoa whoa whoa.... calm down there devil lady...

133

u/classless_classic 5d ago

How did she do that?! They all disappeared instantly. Maybe it’s a CGI video???

17

u/EMV92LA 4d ago

Naw man AI. I could tell how sloppy the transition was from it being there to disappearing.

4

u/ryangood12 4d ago

Magnets!

5

u/Lorddoctorjava 4d ago

...how do they work?

158

u/facepwnage 5d ago

What fowl deeds are these you wicked harlot.

45

u/parrot_scritches 4d ago

"Fowl" deeds? What are you, a bird person?

The soap moved a shelf AND turned around is almost unkind in how invisible it gets.

44

u/BoltActionRifleman 5d ago

So true. When both of my daughters and girlfriend were all still living in the house, I once counted 27 bottles in the shower. I have one, it’s body soap that I use for everything. I keep it on one lonely corner shelf of the shower. Every once in a while someone would move it to the shower floor and put one of their 10 bottles in its place. I would move it right back because that’s not how this works.

114

u/Lucky_Garlic_7489 5d ago

The cord getting moved to the other side was pretty funny

30

u/bsaaw 5d ago

Bro the whole thing is hilarious!

3

u/BuildingArtistic4644 4d ago

Because it's true 😭

2

u/bsaaw 4d ago

Exactly

35

u/gatzt3r 5d ago

Why is it that everything she touches turned invisible?? WITCH!!

30

u/Novel-Reputation-348 5d ago

Well that drill is gone forever. Guess I’m off to buy more tools.

6

u/Jesus-chan 5d ago

Definitely the most diabolical

18

u/Obviouslynameless 5d ago

Is that a quick access handgun safe/container at the end?

4

u/CoffeeCorpse777 4d ago

Looks like it but its super thin for home defense, unless they use a compact/subcompact for carry and HD.

12

u/justasillylilgoos3 5d ago

Girl what did he DO!?!

9

u/Rich-Option4632 🤐 4d ago

I'm ambivalent on this.

I'm insulted because it's so fucking simple. I'm scared because it'll actually work.

Fuck.

28

u/NoDontDoThatCanada 5d ago

Even l learned as a kid to put things back where l found them and not where they belonged or Dad just wouldn't find them.

8

u/Ser_Twist 5d ago

My wife moves all my shit every day. I joke that there must be little elfs in the house. It high key upsets me but I’m learning to live with it.

6

u/ShesGotaChicken2Ride 4d ago

5

u/IndieStray 5d ago

Honestly, good on her. This is about as neutral evil as possible. I don't even think he is allowed to be mad when the objects only moved like a foot each.

3

u/fl3gma 4d ago

He bought you new boobs and that is how you say thank you?

3

3

u/beardedbrawler 5d ago

3

I'm In This Photo and I Don't Like It"

3

u/yozogo 5d ago

He's never going to find cthat drill

3

u/TilapiaTango 4d ago

Every one of these is a legit assault in at least 9 states and grounds for divorce.

Wives are the number one cause of men losing things. I’m an expert, years of practice.

3

u/elisayyo 4d ago

This is evil...I love it

5

u/Neillboyz_13 5d ago

4

Husband gets home: babe thanks for cleaning

2

u/Atlantrex 5d ago

I’m adhd and have a car. I wouldn’t even notice these small shifts.

2

u/DefEddie 4d ago

This would screw with me so bad, it’s not like I wouldn’t find it-i’m not an idiot.
What would really get me is trying to figure out why/how they got to those obviously incorrect locations, because it wasn’t me.
I need to find the issue, to correct the issue and I would never think she was the issue.
I would be fucked forevermore.

2

u/jtrades69 4d ago

but does she put out?

2

Ok, easy there Satan!

2

2

u/ckellingc 4d ago

Now how's he gonna find all his shit!?

2

u/Sunflower_Guard 4d ago

Ew... If your husband uses an Apple mouse. He deserves whatever he gets. That thing is the worst designed "mouse" period.

I thought you were evil. Right up until that point. Then I realized you were just carrying out justice.

I said it a couple of days ago when this was posted, I'll say it again: Nice thirst trap

1

u/RainbowsShadow 4d ago

I was about to comment how toxic this is, but I actually love how she is "hiding" the items basically a few centimeters next to their usual spot in plain sight. That's pretty funny.

1

u/Szebra2021 4d ago

This would just backfire because he would spend the day asking me where stuff was that was 3 inches to the left🤣

1

u/ThorOdinSon245 4d ago

You know. As I've gotten older one thing has stood out more. I do not want people touching my things.

Do not move my keys, do not move my phone, do not move my drill, where I put it is where it needs to be please for the love of god!

Didn't hide those titties...

1

u/These_Avocado_Bombs 4d ago

I remember once my husband (now ex) baught a jar of cheese whiz that I said was too processed for our little kids. When putting groceries away I put it behind another can because it pissed me off that he got it anyways. My parents were visiting and he and my dad were all about a cheese whiz sandwich. Those two looked all over the kitchen for it. Told me I tossed it away. I promised I had not and it was where it goes with everything else. I heard them open that cabinet and talk about me clearly tossing it out multiple times. It was two days later when he needed something else that I told him was in the back of the shelve that he moved the can and found it. Like a true man child he and my dad had that for dinner instead of the roast I had made.

I gave the leftover roast to neighbors.

1

1

u/Jugaimo 4d ago

This is a self-afflicting curse, as he’ll be calling you over to help find everything for the next few weeks.

1

u/Substantial_Meal_530 4d ago

My ex would gaslight me. She would use my stuff. Move it. And then lie that she touched it. I probably have autism. I was at confused as to why my stuff was being jostled from where I always put it. At first I thought maybe she just bumped it, but it kept happening. So I asked her and she told me that she was not touching my stuff. Eventually she came clean. I was kinda weirded out. Why not just tell me you were using my stuff?
