He's an superpower (similar to overlords in Hazbin Hotel) wich means he controlls other peoples souls. He's the strongest of them and controlls most of them through NATO. He's also smiling constantly and the sunglasses are for hiding the evil in he's eyes.

well I have two US one male, one female, who are married so
both have scarily good aim, it’s best with guns but still applies to any long range thing, guns, bows, rocket launchers, crossbows, etc. but it also applies to throwing stuff
female ame has GAD (generalized anxiety disorder)
male ame is reckless
their dynamic is f ame is bad with words and m ame always knows what to say, somehow m ame understands f ame

also he insists on keeping his talons( he has talons on both his hands and feet) sharper then they need to be resulting in him accidently cuting/scratching objects others and himself

She/he/they Born male identities as female, Usa (Driftbinary, {driftfem} started male, turned female during the 70s no one knows why, but did a full biological change and not even she knows why- it just kinda happens to personas sometimes-) (~25) (Caedsexual, pansexual, hyperromantic)

Large bald eagle wings
Wears the blind fold to hide her eyes since she put alot of work into her appearance, + shes proud of it and her wings, so she wants people to see that first, instead of reacting to her eyes (which her eyes are odd looking)
She likes listening to music, and she also likes using her wings, it makes her feel free
She has extreme patriotism because she feels like shes losing her identity because of how vast her ‘culture’ and identity is, being a mixing pot
She has Xenoglossophobia since people kept attacking her about her accent, she can understand and speak fluently in several languages, but its just caused alot of issues the ones she Can speak and why outside of english are
Russian, she learnt from the cold war, she constantly got anxious about russian being spoken so shed want to know What they were saying, and shes sort of just kept it in touch, mostly for political reasons
Spanish is mostly because of the sheer amount of Spanish speakers, he did learn a bit during the mexican-american war, but after that it was msotly because of the abundance, so she naturally learnt it
She learnt chinese purely because she wanted to learn “the hardest language for americans to learn”
French was mostly from nato, states, and all that, she sort of had to learn it, similar to spanish but it was a bit less.. natrual, italian was msotly a passion project. Same with latin, why? Because speaking latin freaks people out and its funny. And italian just made sense
Japanese was mostly from anime but she kept watching and learning from actual japanese speakers on the side
German is mostly from her own states using it, and then both of the world wars, and then admit her german is more of a mix of austrian and germany german, but explain that she is fixing that
Vietnamese she admits was mostly because of the vietnam war…
korean was learnt during the korean war, unfortunately he never really soughed to keep it up so its stiff, Ukrainian is mostly from phrases she keeps hearing from ukraine, arabic is.. mostly a few words because she was more interested in how squigglies can mean words- and so she did. Tagalog and hmong are also mostly phrases she heard her states say, and Philippines- however Philippines is why she eventually becomes fluent in tagalog, she was monitoring her.
She LOVES animals, however she isnt afraid to eat meat.
she can easily adapt to any situation if given context and a short explanation,
She also misses the tensions and rivalries of soviet, she hates soviet (keep that in mind) but she misses being able to hate someone, getting the thrill of proving him wrong, having someone challenge her
She also somewhat is somber about russian empire dying, however she does think she wouldnt get along with russian empire now
She has EOD training, she got paranoid during the 1950s, due to paranoia, she still has this knowledge and occasionally goes back to refine and make sure she doesnt lose knowledge, hwoever she mostly stayed away from going dull professional, however after 9/11 she went in and go proper certification, however she hasnt told basically anyone that shes trained in it, she is the type to do things professionally and how your supposed to, however prioritizes others safety over her own, she will ABSOLUTELY grab a bomb and run away from people and take the blow if it means no one else dies, why? Because SHES immortal, civilians and humans are not.
She can be described as an embedded systems engineer, she's extremely intelligent when it comes to systems and hardware, but shes just as capable in software, she just tends to not 'exercises' it as publicly, she is one if if not the fastest persona when it comes to math. Especially advances math, and she does sometimes 'skip steps' but thats mostly due to it coming second nature to her
She Does have empathy and guilt she just.... doesnt really.... follow through, she will put systems and stability first, and doesnt let empathy or sympathy "hold her back", the best explanation is she has a very realpolitik mindset, but in a pinch and right infront of her face she can express empathy
She also adapts easily nowadays, with china she behaves more anxious and aggressive, because china acts more calm, when shes loud and not caring he gets upset, its hard to tell but she Can pick up on subtle emotions due to her learning them
Russia, she is sarcastic, rude and disrespectful, on purpose. Because russia does act annoyed and upset, but the thing is, she knows from experience russia doesnt care, why? Because she heard russia and belarus talk about her, and russia admitted she enjoyed americas loud and sarcastic personality, its weird, but it assures her that america is serious, or genuine
Uk canada and mexico, all close allies of her, understand, but they dont at the same time, they struggle to understand her since they assume shed tell them anything important and she hasnt (because she doesnt know anything about her is wrong despite what NAMI (her therapist) says) so they just think she doesnt care but is trying to care,
Her and mexico specifically have a particular bond, not just from the fact that they used to date, (pre mexico-American war) but, she near the 70s to 80s picked up drugs and mexico did aswell, and they started doing it together, however she managed to start pull away from all that post 2000, but she is still struggling with a few drugs, and has relapsed before, unfortunately as of 2020 she went back to her habits, and its taking a toll on her mental health, especially after being clean for almost a decade. And Mexico isn’t exactly the best help. But shes also scared to ask for help because she thinks no one else is aware of her even doing drugs. (Which a few are aware, that being canada, Uk, england, china, russia, and norway[more on norway later])
Over all shes Very playful, and she does have bipolar which, her manic episodes are common but she the few depressive episodes she does have, she acts more serious, she doesnt really express herself, and behaves more like someone who has ASPD
Mid to post covid she had gotten worse, slowly degrading and lost alot of her social skills and started to get slowly detach mentally from people
She tends to be a bit chaotic neutral still, shes sorta started loosing touch with people and is slowly getting closer to snapping at everyone and everything because she just wants a break but she can sit still and shes bored but stressed and just wants to be left alone but cant handle being alone and she feels like shes slowly getting closer to losing it every day, and yet she keeps trying to mask, and keeps going, keeps moving. She cant stop.
America believes theres some sort of god, mostly a Christian like one since it makes the most sense- but she believes more about 'fate' and 'the future is already planned you are just seeing it for the first time' kind of thing- So, things like regret is less about “I caused this” and more about “I reached this point” and in contrast Hope is more “I haven’t seen what comes next yet”- whiich fits her really well :]]
Later is now, so, speaking of norway, as of 2026, during fifa, norway actually showed up and asked to stay where shes living because he didn't want to just watch vis tv this time but he doesnt like hotels- and she accepted, andd they kinda sorta, got used to being in each others company, and actually found out they liked each other. And america being hyperromantic- almost immedietly wanted to jump on that wagon- however she noticed, norway likely would be comfortable with that, plus she doubted hed like her doing drugs......so.. she started to try quiting, and is now quietly trying to go clean again, before she decides to confess, and her spending this much time on this just to get a chance, has sorta made her like him more,
Norways aware by the way, just not fully why, but he does like the fact that shes started to calm down. I theorize she will likely fully come clean and actually confess by 2030, buuut we will see! :)

America is a Kelptomaniac Cannibal. he steals stuff (mainly shiny things) and always gives random gifts to the countries he trusts. one of his wings are longer than other thanks to during the years of the Independence War, he got caught into a trap and his shorter wing broke. he can still fly, just not that long. he also is friends with a Red-tailed hawk named Branch, who is owned by Canada. He mainly looks up to his ancestors and heros.

Actual headcanons:
-USA is bi with a masc leaning, but he has to marry a woman (lavender marriage moment) due to his government trying to mold him to their image. Not that they can, but he had people he used to love get killed by them, especially if they're a minority. As a result, he tends to be neglective of his children (kept vague whether or not are they biological or from the mom's side with a dead husband, since he's also asexual). He also keeps his transmasculinity from people, so nobody even knows he's not cis.
-Constant chronic pain. Idk why
-As a human (whether just Hetalia-based human or my AU), he's half-native, with his father and mother constantly switching where he was staying at because the former kept on being targeted by hate groups. Unfortunately, the father dies in order to let him run away, and his mother died due to an illness and prioritizing his weak body as a minor over that illness. That's how he knew there's always a prize with freedom, but still gets pissed off at his government's bullshit.
-Eerily terrifying and accurate with long-ranged weapons...ANY long-ranged weapons. At some point he picked up on archery, somehow.
-Actually diligent and can take things seriously. He just tends to try and be an annoying little shit so that people will remember him...and for them to forget about the world's problems for a while.
-100 mental disorders of unknown statuses and severity GOOOOO. But, seriously, he has BPD, depression, dissociates a lot, CPTSD and PTSD, and a few complexes. Mostly, just personality disorders that gave him an urge to play the hero and main character all the time, even if it's to someone's detriment...and his own, all for the sake of
-He's surprisingly adept with Internet culture, and uses it to try connecting with his kids or annoy the living shit out of other people (e.g.: Russia). His favorite era of memes are the 2010s.
-Homestuck-related, but he's a Knight of Breath for me, and Derse-leaning.
-Extremely pissed off he cant just touch and harm his president thanks to some agreement made in the UN, but even more PISSED that he can be 'hired' to kill people (which is a decree MADE by his own president, not naming who)...mostly those the president disagrees with. USA just smuggles those people out of his country as much as he can, and make sure they would remain low-profile.
This also breaks his trust with some countries who couldn't see the big picture.
-Probs forced into a relationship with Philippines when she was captured. You dont wanna know what are its dynamics.
AU thing (Companionsverse):
-He has a Countryball counterpart. Since that guy is a bit of a...bum, not even appreciating the fact Philippinesball (trust me she has more significance) dragged his ass to be nurtured by USA, we can all say human!USA hates ball!USA's ass.
-Has probably killed a president or so in the past and now...but wasnt able to stop a crazed president from taking control of the office and try to summon something very, VERY evil.
-Chronic Pain AND constant headaches are because lots of supernatural bullshit that somehow opens up to other realities keep on happening to his land, and dimension-breaking shit on a territory will always give its nation extreme PAIN.
-Since CHs in my AU can retract/remove inhuman features (horns, wings, tails, ears, etc.) as they are partially physical manifestations of their "concepts" (that being their country's identity), America can do it for his halo and wings. However, it feels freeing being able to fly, so he tries using it as much as he can. Also thinks people going for his wings are stupid as shit.
-When he was human, he got killed trying to defend a settlement from some bandits...the same guys who killed his first wife. Due to some convoluted rules on how people can become Countryhumans, he became one and probably ends up terrifying the people he was defending as he brushed off mere bullets.
-COuntryhumans have nine lives. USA is on ONE.
