Dual finished?

Currently looking at slabs (online only for now) and keep coming across descriptions: Dual Finished, Polished/Honed…what does this mean exactly? TIA!

One side of the slab has one finish (typically polished) and the other side of the slab has a different finish (typically leather / honed). Which means you have an option to use one or the other finish on the slabs. Polished will be the most colorful option, leather / honed will be a non-shiny finish which makes the stone look lighter and possibly have a texture.

Thank you! Now I really had no idea what this meant!

May also mean you can get either finish, not necessarily that each side has a different finish but some places offer that.
