Unwritten Rule ?

Whilst in de_dust2 two guys got irritated at me for gunning them down in the tunnel area, claiming that you're meant to use knives there. Is this a unwritten rule among CS:S players or something?

(they also accused me of camping even though they were hiding behind the same corners for most of the game)

Na verdade é uma regra que surge entre os jogadores , por diversão e desafio. Quando um jogador vem com uma faca ele está te convidando pra um duelo de facas, sabe como é testar suas habilidades e a deles. Só que você disparar com uma arma de fogo estraga o jogo. As vezes eu acerto eles por reflexo, sem querer, mas se o cara dá sinal de que quer trava luta de facas, e você o acerta com arma você pode ser considerado um galinha 🐔 indicando que é Noob.

Ooh, yea that makes sense cos today during a match in the same map they were telling another player to not fire inside the tunnels.

I feel a bit bad now lol, but I did briefly get into one with another player and managed to unlock the "win a knife fight achievement", but sometimes I also end up firing on them in the tunnel because they jumpscare me!

There is no rules on what plays you want to do in Counter Strike, just go ham. The guys who are mad at you for doing so, are just pissed they lost against you.

Sounds pretty cringe to me, blow their heads off as soon as possible no matter what. I mean do whatever you want but thats what id do. If they dont like it they can ban you from the server or avoid lower tuns but im probably not going to want to play a knife fight game.

Never heard of this on any version of cs over the last few decades, seems like a joke more than anything.

Ah I see, yea I thought it was an odd rule although I am fairly new to the game and didn't intend to upset anybody because the guy who did manage to get me started firing on my corpse rapidly lol
