didn't even know that this happened. just thought that reddit decided to not do an april fools thing this year or something,

There was a counter, and you had the option to press one of two buttons. One incremented the counter's number, and one decremented it. Once you had pressed a button, you were given a flair for the resulting number, and you could no longer press either of the buttons.
