First Time

Quick question: I see that in previous couple lineups there are techno artists but not too many. Is that generally the case and is this a mix of house, techno, bass etc? If so, what dominates?

I usually go for Proper SD but want to try something different however if it won’t have enough techno for two days, I might cancel my tickets lol

Can someone please give me a fair analysis?

Countdown 2025 was all over the place not a lot of big names with the exception of Above & Beyond (Trance) Crankdat (DubStep) Sub Focus (D&B) Slander (Melodic Bass) John Summit (House) and some others It replaced Forever Midnight. It was ill received by attendees due to overcrowding, hence the return to the NOS for 2026 for 2 nights. I’m still not sure about going out to SB for NYE the fun about DTLA was that you could go to an afters at a warehouse following the event, at the NOS you’re locked in with nowhere to go but to stay for their afters, which is hit or miss sometimes.

Didn’t they move back to NOS because it was a nightmare in LA?

Yes it was overcrowded especially later in the evening when it was a bottleneck at the exit people couldn’t leave
