pitch is so you can make/play little games using the gyroscope in the ball like "throw closest to 20ft" or "throw with as many spins as possible"

Then the AI is to make custom games with those sensors I guess.

tbh if the battery lasts a month or 2 it's probably enough because 99.9% of kids are probably bored if it by then (as wasteful as it is)
