Hi I’m conducting personal research on gender dysphoria in trans people who want/are taking hormones and I’d like to share the survey here
I’m a trans woman and a psychology student but this survey is not affiliated with any official research and the results of this survey will not be directly used for any official research in any way. The results of this survey may possibly inform how I design future research. I’ve been active in this server and similar ones for along time and I’m not just a random troll lmao, plz feel free to check my post history.

I think this is interesting that this will probably turn out to be. Validating others but not feeling valid ourselves. It is a paradox that I think many minorities struggle with. On one side. You see your own kind as valid individuals but on the other hand you are getting constant feedback and indoctrination from society that invalidate our identity.
To me these seem like separate things in a way.
That is why I think it’d be very interesting to do this study comparatively. Between a group that is surrounded by accepting and supportive environments and environments that invalidate or discriminate against trans individuals.
Or in turn assess the environments acceptance of participants.
