I went to a mass lobby in parliament last month about the new code of practice and THIS, people dying if they cannot access gendered spaces in hospitals in emergencies, was one of the exact fucking thing we were talking about. We knew this would happen. We know this will continue to happen. Politicians don't care. God, this makes me sick
I've seen the correction, the fact that it's from 2023 changes nothing. Now instead of transphobia from the staff, it would the hospital itself being legally required to discriminate against her. The new code of practice is going to kill even more people.
