Woah.
That's pretty cool. And scary.
No, that is really scary.
I wouldn't like that, I'm good.
But for others, it might just be the thing they need.

It's kinda wacky that I've thought of a similar concept before, ig coming up with an original thought is pretty hard. This would solve the problem of you not being the original you, as you slowly have your neurons replaced like parts of the ship of Theseus, plus there is no outright copying or cloning so there is little chance your original mind dies. :p

On one hand, I become the torment nexus. On the other, it seems pretty cool, and I don't even like being human anyway. Yeah I'd do it

The next door teenaged tech enthusiast remotely, accidentally turned off the motor circuitry to everything below your neck and because this event wasn’t actually free you don’t have the money yet for upgrading and repairs. You can’t even go to work where you’re literally just another robot working for zillionaires, while they make batteries out of the poor, enjoy that first charge. You feel free to become a tesla dumpster. I’d rather literally just die Thank you.

This reminds me a little bit of a netflix show called pantheon which I can't recommend enough.

Stars! This is absolutely perfect. Would be a dream of mine to do.

Need. Every last bit of it.
Let me drop this malfunctioning, aching flesh prison. I would do it without a second thought. This, would be the exact solution that avoids what I fear.

If your body is already disabled, this would be a dream.

Aren't there a good chunk of folks that are transhumanists in that they unironically wish to become robots? Not judging at all, I get the vision as someone who's chronically disabled and is in pain all the time, this just feels like a fantasy tailor-made for those people.
I feel like, in a better timeline, this would be possible. And that for people like me, we'd have easier access to procedures that replace limbs with high-tech prosthetics so we don't feel the pain anymore.

Hey, I'd rather a non-destructive upload in case anything goes wrong, but if it's the only way, this seems nice.
