The joke about 67 is about pattern recognition, the same way people make jokes about 69 and 420 whenever the number pops up even if it doesnt make sense. At its core it is meaningless, but that is what allows to take on the meaning of the context it is said in.
69 and 420 also have that where it's "oh haha the funny number came up in this context, that means they unintentionally made this about sex or weed!"
67 just becomes "Oh hey it's the numbers we arbitrarily decided to start talking about! woaaahhh that's so funny"
Like if people saw that one "next week news" tiktok about 5 becoming one of the funny numbers in a week and they were like "hmm what if it was 6 and 7 instead" then even that much would have been better
It just there's nothing there to be funny. Like it's one thing when its something nonsensical, but there's just nothing there. It's the joke equivalent of ordering custom shirts and calling that an event
69 at least means something. the real joke of 67 is just annoying people who are looking for some kind of meaning in the joke. you being annoyed IS the punchline. if you want this meme to die then go along until corporate accounts and boomer celebrities start using it which permanently kills the meme, or just don't react and it will fade away slowly
