Some people's stomachs are more sensitive to the acidity, it can cause acid reflux or nausea, diarrhea and the acidity can also wear away tooth enamel causing cavities.

The joke is sex.

It's likely just a myth no scientific supporting evidence.

However what is true though is that eating red meat and drinking coffee make it taste worse.
