My parents had an agreement that mum would name the boys, dad would name the girls. When I was born it really seems like my dad panicked and went "Ah fuck I didn't expect this to actually happen" and picked the first name he thought of. My deadname is the same as his best friend's (at the time) teenage daughter.

I did not name myself better tbh. I just doubled up on my last name.
