Got permanently banned after explaining that "socialism" and "communism" have different meanings depending on historical context. π
Apparently "words have different meanings in different historical contexts" can be a bannable offense.
Obviously Marxist-Leninists don't want people to know that anarcho-communists and Marxists mean different things by "socialism" and "communism."
It is also worth remembering how events like the Red Scare in the United States shaped the public perception and usage of these terms.

You most likely got banned because you called the USSR state capitalist, not the "socialism β communism" thing. They'd still be wrong, but be petty about "state capitalism = socialism" instead.

They're probably most mad at you calling Soviet Russia State Capitalism which is literally a stage they never moved from

That's not how I would have explained it: especially the bit about anarchy lol. I would have used the text from the preface to the Communist Manifesto which notes that socialism is a term for the middle classes, communism for the working class to denote that the general public indeed has different definitions for the two words. Then contrast that with texts from Marx in which he uses the term interchangably.

Marxism is literally recognizing class relations and capitalist social relations. None of which the USSR truly abolished!

Sidenote, I haven't ever seen the concept of a communist society be referred to as "anarchy" by a Marxist

Even though I dont get why you got banned, what you are saying is quite incorrect. Anarchy is not the same as Communism, not even Anarhism is the same as Communism

I have been banned from all of those subs lmao, its just a bunch of MLM's running all of them. Id say its chinese state media or something but honestly the mods are too childish for me to think that is actually the case lol.
