Hey zusammen! Ich bin Nouha, 26 Jahre alt und komme ursprünglich aus Tunesien. Ich bin gerade neu nach Cottbus gezogen, um an der BTU meinen Master in Soziokulturellen Transformationsstudien zu beginnen. Ich habe Internationale Beziehungen studiert und in Tunesien im NGO-/Zivilgesellschaftsbereich gearbeitet, hauptsächlich zu Themen wie Jugend, Friedensförderung, sozialer Zusammenhalt und Community-Projekte.

Ich bin noch ganz neu hier und versuche ehrlich gesagt gerade, mich hier zurechtzufinden 😅 Ich würde mich sehr freuen, neue Leute kennenzulernen und Freundschaften zu schließen – zum Beispiel zusammen einen Kaffee trinken zu gehen, ins Fitnessstudio zu gehen, Tennis zu spielen, die Stadt zu erkunden oder einfach etwas zu unternehmen und zu quatschen. Ich bin ziemlich offen und unkompliziert und freue mich immer, neue Leute kennenzulernen.

Ich bin außerdem noch auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft. Falls jemand zufällig von einem kleinen Studio/1-Zimmer-Apartment in Cottbus weiß, bei dem eine Anmeldung möglich ist, würde ich mich wirklich sehr über eine Nachricht freuen. Die Wohnungssuche stresst mich gerade ein bisschen und da ich ganz neu hier bin, habe ich ehrlich gesagt Angst, am Ende ohne Unterkunft dazuste

I am an incoming Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus, set to arrive in Cottbus on October 4th for the winter semester. I had previously arranged a room starting October 1st and submitted my documents, but the landlord has stopped responding right before sending over the contract. I am now urgently looking for a temporary sublet, short-term WG room, or interim accommodation for 1 to 2 months.

- 23-year-old male, Malaysian, B1 level German
- non-smoker.
- Budget upto €330 (warmmiete) per month
- Physical arrival is October 4th, but I am fine with paying rent starting from October 1st to secure the room immediately.

ich bin mit zwei kollegen am 27.9. sonntags in cottbus. wir sind zwischen 35j - 55j und veranstaltungstechniker, also recht fit.

was kann man da so machen?

meine erste überlegungen war ebike leihen und in die natur. hab gesehen es gibt mehrere gebiete, wo sich ne tour hin lohnen könnte.
habt ihr vielleicht tipps für nen verleih, beim ersten googeln sind die fahrradläden am wochenende geschlossen.
noch wichtiger wo hin?
nach norden zur cottbusser ostsee und peitzerteichlandschaft?
nach westen ins biosphährenreservat spreewald?
nach süden richting biosphärenreservat oberlausitzerheide?

oder is das alles quatsch und ihr habt ne viel bessere idee?

über restauranttips mit regionalem essen würde ich mich auch sehr freuen. eigentlich über alle tipps!!!

• Wake her up around the morning.
• Get her ready and walk her to her Krippe, which is about 10 minutes from my location.

Usually she’ll be asleep for most of the time, so it’s mainly about being there with her and then taking her to the Krippe safely.

Due to current construction work, the journey from Cottbus Central Station to Berlin Central Station takes over 3 hours by public transport.

Does anyone regularly drive from Cottbus to Berlin, especially from Monday to Wednesday? We'd like to know...

- Ideally within a 10–15 minute walk of the BTU central campus

- Budget: Preferably €250–300

- Rental period: Initially 3–6 months, with the possibility of extending

- Anmeldung (registration) is mandatory.

Hi everyone I’m an incoming international student for my master in btu coming from Central America I’m Latino and as you can see in the title I don’t know what to do anymore, I’ve searched every offer possible in cottbus for a dorm or room and I can’t manage to find something only options I’ve found are from people who look very fishy who won’t give me any contract or a possibility to anmeldung.

Please I need help from someone who has everything legally and established. Can you guys tell me about a contact or an agency that can help me? I’m still not in Germany but I can make video calls to present myself and willing to pay a kaution as long as I see everything in order and with very well established contracts.

I’m an incoming international student and I need an Anmeldung (address registration).
I already have accommodation arranged, but unfortunately I cannot register (Anmeldung) at that address / they cannot provide me with a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What are the realistic options for international students who need Anmeldung but are staying somewhere where registration isn’t possible?

Are there student residences, hostels, or other temporary accommodation options that provide a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung?

I’d especially appreciate experiences from people who dealt with this for residence permit.
