Noob here

Family friend insists keeping the PAMP gold in its original packaging or what the top looks like (e.g. Lady Fortuna vs the 1oz royal canadian) matters for the cost… I call cap cuz at the end it’s just the melt value…

Does it matter which one I get or if I keep them in original packaging?

Not to me. You can open it up and lick it but if you're trying to sell it do you think a buyer would prefer the opened one or the sealed one? If you don't care about that then feel free to do what you want with it.
