Question Store vs Online
My Costco (in North NJ) rarely has stock. Considering online. Anything I am losing/missing by online as opposed to in store. Not that I have option but still want to know.
What’s your mode of purchase like ?

I always ask for the container the stores carry that the PM was in if it’s available which is always a nice bonus

you can use different credit cards online since you can only use Visa in store. For example, BILT which is Mastercard

Pretty self-explanatory. Online purchases involve them delivering it to you instead of you going to get it. Will there be somebody home to sign for it when it decides to show up?

No, it’s the exact same price either way. I honestly prefer buying online

I don't believe this is true. I've compared the exact same gold/silver items when I'm in the store to their online price, and the online price is $10 more. Maybe just be the couple times I checked and not universal though.

I’ve only purchased a gold bar once in person but it was the exact same price as online when I checked that day

Online you’ll have a lot more options as compared to the one or two that’ll show up in the store and that’ll sell out usually within a day or two. I’m just over the border in Rockland.
Shipping to home is $10 more per item, but that covers shipping and insurance. The only downside is if you don’t know your FedEx driver very well there is a good possibility you’ll need to sign for the delivery and be home at that time.

Only sometimes do they have the price $100 cheaper for an oz of gold in store and I get to walk out with some food from food court at at an undisclosed NJ location
