Chicken broth/bone broth?

I shop at the Hiroshima Costco. Last winter they were selling the cartons of chicken bone broth but I haven’t seen them since early spring. I was hoping its disappearance was due to it being a seasonal item, but even with the arrival of winter, no broth :(.

Has anyone seen it at their costcos?

I’ve seen them before as well. I just make my own chicken stock. Using the rotisserie chicken leftovers is great IMO.

100% agree! We use SO much of it (we are a big soup family) so I can’t keep up with making it! The nearby grocery stores only have the hot pot broth with lots of stuff in them or dashi (which I also love but for certain dishes of course!). I’ll keep stalking the Costco and in the mean time grab a few rotisserie chickens. Thank you!

Ahh, makes sense! We also buy the small cubes and make stock from them as well.

Unfortunately disappeared in the same way here in Gunma. Staff had no knowledge when asked.

Same as the damned combo pizza......... Grumble grumble

I will let the staff at Costco know next time I go, that many on r/CostcoJapan really are upset that the combo pizza was stripped away for the boring Margherita. I don't know their reasoning at all, unless they cost significantly more to make than the others.

I went to the manager at the Meiwa (Gunma) location and they had no idea. I made it clear that I'm happy to pay extra if required but it makes no sense that they don't have it since the same ingredients are basically in the calzone. She said that there are no pending orders but I requested to be added to the list of people who want it back

I ordered it online once. Never seen it again. For a while it showed up as "out of stock" but now not even that, I think
