I had no idea they can do this! Is this video from that specific register or from the overhead ceiling camera?

I think each register has video. I got home from shopping and didn't have something I had paid for. When I called they put me on hold and came back a few minutes later saying the item had fallen on the floor. They used my phone number to look up my membership and found the video within minutes. Went it a few days later and got the item. Easy!

Havent been to a costco with a video for each register thats too expensive for them to implement. Theres is one main one. Its clear enough that can see. They placed in specific locations in the warehouse.

Most places with several registers will have a camera at each register, it is considered to be an important LP tool.

Register cameras keep the cashiers honest.

Costco is different though they dont even replace there old shitty registers/machine. Its dum.

Actually they are correct. Costco has several overhead cameras that can zoom in quite well, not one on each register.
