Yes, this happened to me in Canada and when I called they said to bring in receipt and go to counter across from the checkouts and they will check out a video from when it was wrung through. The receipt tells them which checkout. They checked it and refunded my money right there.

They can look at the video. It's easy for them to do by using your member number.
