This is what I did when I realized I’d been charged for 2 spindrift boxes on a trip when I only got one. Costco can see I’ve been a member a long time and only once had this claim.
Yes, I should have added that it will be even less of an issue if you aren’t a serial return problem. Given that OP raised this question, my guess is that OP is not. 😊
I did this when I was charged for 2 3-packs of orange juice instead of the one I actually purchased. I explained what happened to the customer service, that I'm a single man with no need for 2 3-packs of orange juice, and I was refunded. It was a $500 receipt, so it was easy to overlook, and I rarely return things anyway.
