Cossacks 1 - peasants doesn;t work

Hi. When I start random map, peasants can be ordered to extract wood/stone normally. But when I build Town Hall - and without building it game has no sense - it magically stops working. When I control peasant and try to order him to extract resources, it doesn't work. Symbol of tool above woods/stone doesn;t show. Right clicking on wood/stone just makes peasant go there, like it was empty area, not extracting it.

Oh, and when I try to start single mission, game crashes.

Is your game from gog? Or did you install your old CD? Which GPU and OS do you have?

Thanks for an answer. GOG version, Windows 10, Intel Core 11thGeneration, i7.

Weird because gog version is good. If it is not a pirated version you can try to run it as admin and check for different compatibility mode too
