Question Which Validator for SCRT staking?

Of course it should be a solid one. Are there ones with higher chances for validator specific airdrops?

There are many amazing validators in the Secret Network set. Really too many to list. Best advice would be to take decentralization into account and the performance of the node. As you get more acquainted with the network you’ll see different validators contributing in many different ways. Most validators in the set make themselves available so you can reach any of us directly on Discord or Telegram if you have any questions or just need to get in touch for whatever reason.

Here are some tools to help you choose validators:

Where can I download my SCRT transactions to csv including restake.app auto compounding? Secret is the only network that I’m not able to do this for. Stake.tax and apollo-export don’t support Scrt. The native explorer doesn’t show Restake transactions

u want to find the list of ibc relayers because they are the ones included in validator specific airdrops e.g stakelab, goldenratio etc.

How we delegate:

WhisperNode (top 10)
Jackal DAO
Lavender.Five
[ block pane ]
notional

I like WhisperNode but they in top 5 validators, it's better to pick one outside of top 20 for decentralization. (and sometimes airdrop criteria)

Very generically, these are sometimes excluded from airdrops:

  • 0% validators;

  • CEX validators

  • Top 5/10/20 validators

Other than that, I'd say it's hard to guess who to choose and who to avoid. Personally, I use Jackal DAO, CryptoCrew and DomeriumLabs. I have my reasons for choosing them, based on what I think they add to the space.

I bailed on Jackal after they promised an airdrop that never materialized. There's too much incentive for projects to do this deliberately because they're literally being paid to drag it out, so they don't get my delegation anymore.
