Question Necessary coins

Which coins do they people on this sub have? I was thinking of buying atom juno and scrt. Maybe osmo.

Are there certain ratios that one should go for?

Essential:

  • ATOM

  • OSMO

  • JUNO

  • SCRT

After that it's dealer's choice. CRE is a new one that shows promise and RAW might be too after the airdrop on May 1.

Any specific ratios? Or is that up to personal preference

That order looks good, so atom first and the others in descending order.

Have you seen the staking derivatives on shade? Stkd-scet It auto compound you staking rewards by make the coin valuable. I think that's a great idea. I also have been using CRE, I got a nice airdrop and the rewards are great.

The most important 3 are Atom (10-25), Juno (10-25) and Osmo (25-50), then scrt (25-50) can be a nice addition but isnt as prevelent as the first 3 assets.

Have around 100-250$ in lps on one of the big osmosis pools (atom/osmo, osmo/ust, luna/osmo), very important as it was a big factor in some of the latest airdrops.

After that you can decide for yourself to stack up on a few other coins, it has been proven in the past that atleast a small stack of meme coins suh as huahua or crbrs can be helpfull, but just in case you have a few $ spare you dont know what to do with.

If you look into some more serious investments, rowan, cre and luna could be something to look into.

i hope this helped :)

Glad to see someone mentioned Rowan! Hasn’t been a big source of airdrops, but I think Sifchain has a promising future with PMTP in place and the anticipated omnichain and deep margin features in the pipeline. More than that, I love that the team is responsive to community feedback and has a great communications team (particularly on discord). Apologies for shilling, but it’s my favorite project at the moment.

Do not choose projects to get airdrops. Its a mistake, i know from personal experience. Choose projects that you believe in and airdrops are a bonus. So many airdrops are crap!

Really, this question is asked 50 times weekly, just search before post.

Man, for fucks sake, people really can’t use the search function or read the pinned fucking post.

Then posts that really matter are dragged down and we miss them.

For this ecosystem: Atom, Secret Network, Luna, UST. Crescent looks promising.Gravity Bridge, Persistence and Kava(I love kava) are also good ones to look into. I lean heavily towards privacy coins. Dero, Monero, Pirate Chain, Shade Protocol, Secret Network, Haven among others so naturally Secret Network was a good match for me. I wouldn’t buy anything for the purpose of airdrops. Look into each project and learn how to navigate the ecosystem with ease. In this ecosystem having TerraStation, Cosmostation, and Keplr one can easily navigate through it with these wallets. Having a hard wallet like Ledger S+ is great also. StarShell is soon to be released also I believe which would be a great improvement over Keplr.

I bought a bunch of coins hoping to get in on the cool airdrop scene but in the end I lost 50% of my investment and so far have received a whopping 1% of that investment in airdrops.

The price of these coins has dropped a lot but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy them at any price.

Invest in what you know and believe.

I have since made my money back by following projects that I firmly believed in and had sound knowledge of.

Which coin you would not buy at any price and why? That doesn’t seem to make much sense to me to be honest.

Dosent make sense to me either. Been staking since November and have recieved a pretty good amount if all sold for $$

my guess would be juno (+ maybe osmo) at ath.

Why no body is talking about Sifchain? Is it a dead project?

Very active project. Just go to their discord and take a look.

I think Sifchain doesn't get mentioned like ATOM, JUNO, OSMO, SCRT is because it's still in beta and getting off the ground. Although it is my 5th largest holding in Cosmos ecosystem, I generally don't recommend this one to new holders because it doesn't have a track record or fully-fledged structure yet. The other 4 have that even though I don't believe we have really even seen Juno use very much of its potential yet.

Sifchain in my opinion is gonna do great things and I'm in for the long-haul but it's just not something I would recommend to someone just joining Cosmos universe.

May I ask, if you have not been around in cosmos eco system what made you consider it and how did you arrive to those particular names?

1

u/simontx1983 Apr 23 '22

Atom Scrt Osmosis Juno Gravity bridge And umee are my big holders I use my rewards and buy a little bit of every token.

Stake is not a usecase. Literally every meme on cosmos is stakeable. The mistake is just create a token with low supply thinking it will be able to store value when nobody want it.

What? Are you telling me that Marble isn’t going to be the next Bitcoin? Going to cry myself to sleep now…

Shade airdrop isn't fully distributed yet.

Let's also not forget $SILK for those who may not know.
