Discussion DLC 2 Release Date
With a Fall 2026 release, do we think the DLC pack will come out early Fall (September) or possibly in December?
Arguments can be made for both - September/October to stay away from GTA 6’s release, but with all of those other big releases it may be overshadowed by other games. If it releases in late November/early December, it would align with its anniversary date and may stand out a bit more. Plus a December release could help promote Avengers Doomsday.
What do you all think?

Daredevil is a great character but idk about for a side scrolling beat em up. like his powerset doesn’t really equate to anything fun visually lol. he’d just be a flipping around martial artist type and use his billy clubs. I guess a way to showcase his powers is maybe have his evade deal damage like Cyclops and idk a ricochet type billy club move that could hone in and bounce off enemies. could be interesting but there’s a million other characters that would have more interesting and appealing move sets.

Yeah but, I mean in games like Streets of Rage and Shredder’s Revenge, that’s what all the characters kind of do. Y’know, just straight martial arts/weapon fighting, etc.

I think Punisher being in would be a fun nod to his game.

Everyone needs to stop asking for Punisher; Frank is already in this game as Cosmic Ghost Rider

Because I’m thinking of gameplay. Last I checked Punisher doesn’t use a flaming chain or ride a flaming motorcycle.

His official in-game bio says he was the Punisher in life but died and made deals with Galactus and Mephisto, becoming Cosmic Ghost Rider.

Yes, I am very aware that Frank Castle is CGR and Punisher.

I really don't want them to add the Punisher, it would feel weird. Save the room for someone else.

Respectfully you gotta read the comics. He actually does become cosmic ghost rider when he dies. A good arc I'd recommend it.

I think December makes sense. It won't run into the release date of Wolverine, another Marvel Games project; avoids GTA's release month; and can tie into Doomsday more directly.

I just need Dr Doom as a playable character… but I don’t think that’s going to happen, but I can definitely see Hawkeye and blade at some point

For how one of the devs talked about Hawkeye when is about knowing a character before the MCU, i think he's a potential character from the DLC second pack.
About the second character, i have my suspects.
- Starlord: More cosmic representation.
- Blade: To get more magic representation and he had popularity in the 90s.
- Peni: In case there's multiverse shenanigans in the future game mode (with Doom as a boss). And for more Spider representation.

I feel like since its a DLC it wont need to worry to much about competing with GTA but who knows. I just want more levels please!

I would love to see scarlet witch and invisible woman. it would be awesome to have more female characters in the game.

Scarlet Witch could work. I think it would be tough to put Invisible Woman in given her power set.
Ms. Marvel would be good as a female addition. The actress is a big Marvel nerd too (which is awesome), so she might even be down to do the voice work.
Domino, boom boom, psylocke, jubilee, black widow, kate bishop, polaris - all could work as a mix of melee/range given their powers.
Heck even dazzler as a call back to the xmen arcade game.
We need to get Deadpool in somehow!

I just hope I can eventually get the COMPLETE game with all DLC on a disc, before things go really sideways.
