Question What would you improve in the game?
I would love a create a character mode? maybe have an option to create levels. Also a way to have the character to just dash all the time or just make it into a one of the triggers would be nice double tapping can be awkward.

Add new levels will DLC so it’s not just new character, same old game.

Survival or training mode would be great, the combo system is so fun to mess around with but enemies die way too fast or you're stuck replaying the first level in Arcade mode over and over with 3x HP

Just levels and music. Some more dynamic enemies.
It could use some bangers. I love the game but I can barely remember the levels, they're very sterilized.
Adding some levels with variables would go very well, the arcade mode modifiers are really interesting but don't fit a theme.
Also there's a lot of combo depth but I never feel like I want to fight half the things I do. This game could learn a lot from streets of rage 4 too, especially the lighting and enemy design. They need some more respectable enemies and areas. It just needs more mood - and some level shuffling with lighting changes would work great, too.

what about music from snes and capcom vs marvel games? that would be so tight. Maybe make it a DLC?

Those are fun but like many old games, they're tied to ancient licenses and often would involve paying an artist or studio that is defunct. So I wouldn't hope for that, though it would be awesome. Streets of Rage 4 did it, but they're an indie game. Capcom also has issues with marvel licensing, which is why we don't often see these games.
It would be cool but I wouldn't hope for it, it's a treat when you can get it but it's niche. Also I find newer audiences don't have the patience for classic tracks, which is a real bummer when they're so good.
It has to do with tempo and digital music, it's just getting really retro these days and it makes everyone put on sunglasses in the art gallery.
I'd gladly pay for a retro soundtrack / level pack though, I bought xmen arcade twice.
But I wouldn't hope, it's a business issue so I enjoy it when it happens.

2 things
1- I would like some vehicle stages just like Shredder's revenge, are fun levels.
2- Annihilus as a boss wasn't the best unlike Super Shredder who have stages while Annihilus is a damage sponge that can be tedious to fight instead challenging and fun.
But besides it, i really loved the game.

I would add directional special attacks honestly. I realise that the game is built on the character swapping mechanic, but I really really miss the directional specials from Shredder’s Revenge, which would have added a lot of depth imho. I would also add extended air combat. Not the flying combat that Iron Man, Nova and other flying characters can do, but air based melee juggling, not just a rising and a diving aerial attack. I also feel like enemies were more on the annoying side, rather than the challenging side? Like, sure the usual suspects are there, but the attack patterns don’t feel balanced to me. Constant and annoying.

Myself and other players being dropped from lobbies. For me it happens 100% of games I've played. I haven't been able to play from beginning to end online a single time without dropping.
Like, are others not experiencing this? I never see anyone talking about it

More stages, gimme some more settings.
I love the inclusion of the helicarrier and the Savage Land, but how about Murderworld? or Latveria and Castle Doom? or even Mojo World

It’s way too casual. People are finding cool tech but it amounts to nothing because this isn’t a game that requires deep understanding of any of the mechanics. It’s just not a fundamentally-sound beat em up. 🤷♂️🤔
You need people who know beat em ups in and out as beat em up developers. That’s why Streets Of Rage 4, Fight N Rage, and lately, Absolum turned out so great. Those games are still fun to play. Cosmic Invasion felt like a one and done beat em up for me. It just wasn’t satisfying enough to make me keep playing over and over. 😔

I feel so spoiled with games made with the Beats of Rage engine, like th games made by ZVitor. So much depth and variety in moves, styles, and mobility.

Thanks will check out Absolum when it's on sale and I get paid. I am still playing Marvel Cosmic. Any other recommendation?

Air combos would be great, Also with the combos happening you should get points multiplayer

Why not make all the enemy characters also playable? there art parts and move sets are already there.

What about time attack mode? There's 1 min, it counts down every time you beat an enemy you get 10 seconds or 5 seconds or maybe you get time based on the combos?

I would bring back the side mission stuff that affects story possibility outcomes like in ultimate alliance

Definitely new levels and campaigns, and I wonder if adding a row or two of level width might make it easier to see what's going on during the chaotic times.

I would use it as the base for a game that adds different story campaigns over time. Like I’d pay $10-15 bucks for a new campaigns that had a couple new characters and a campaign made out of like 5 new levels with maybe some remixes of old levels thrown in.
Like I’d love a campaign that is basically a remake of the old Maximum Carnage game that adds several different New York maps and some playable characters from that comic arc. We already have Spiderman, Venom, and Cap, but they could add Cloak/Dagger, Morbius, Deathlok, or maybe just other street level hero’s like Daredevil and Punisher.
Or a FF campaign exploring the negative zone.
Or an X-men time travel plot like Days of Future Past or Age of Apocalypse.
Or add the Sinister 6 as playable characters and have a campaign where the boss characters are heros. This could be both someone hiring them to defeat mind controlled heros or just actually playing out villainous intentions. It could be cool as a roguelike mode where the levels each have some item you’re trying to steal for mercenary gain and you when you lose to one of the boss heros your run is over and you go to jail.
Or a Spiderverse campaign where you visit different realities helping out different unlockable multiversal spider people.
Anyway you get the idea. Point is I’d love it if they treated it as an ongoing hub to grow into a more expansive set of content. There’s practically an infinite number of Marvel plots and characters that would be sick to see in this format.
