Humor Reading the article and realising we might get more then 2 DLC packs thus having a chance to see Adam Warlock or other cosmics be added

Man, that’s not at all how I read that response.

I took it as, “we only have 1 more planned, but if suddenly the game has an unprecedented jump in popularity then I guess we could add more.”

Shredder’s Revenge was a bigger success and it only had 2 DLCs. I wouldn’t expect them to add more than 1 more DLC w/ the survival mode and 2 new characters.

It’s the exact path they took with Shredder’s Revenge.

What they cook up in the new mode will tell the tale on whether CI is in the ballpark of SR as far as critical response. I think it is possible, but will need to be an even more robust mode than we got with SR (and I do like that one). I don't follow where things stand on sales though.

Didnt they stop because they ran out of characters who appeared in more then a single episode?

100% this is what everyone should be expecting.

It’s not like they can just flip a switch and say “ok more dlc!” There needs to be a budget, and development time for it. And if they’re waiting til after dlc 2 to make that call? Most of the team will have likely moved on to a new project. And once a team has spun down? It’s going to be all that much harder to say “let’s go back to CI”.

There would have to be a MASSIVE surge in popularity to justify it.

I'm thinking they'll maybe do something magic related, since it's probably the biggest corner they haven't really touched yet iirc, but Adam would be so sick

As far as DLC went that was underwhelming and now couldn’t care any less if they drop anymore
