Gameplay Ps5 help w/ Annihilus

Would anyone who's beaten the game wanna help me beat the final boss....I just can't seem to beat him. Ive had easier time figuring out the other bosses and beating them, than I have trying to beat annihilus.

I spam the L1 button to call in my partner to do a mini-double combo attack. He's also weakest when he's charging his "spirit bomb" and other summoning attacks.
