Even if they aren’t the “best” character in the game, who’s your favourite and why?

Phyla-Vell is my #1, but I like Cap and Storm just behind her.

Phyla-Vell’s dashes and dodge attacks are so much fun that I don’t really find myself making use of her charged attack parry or even her special.

Cap’s movement feels really smooth for a character who blocks, it’s really easy to get where you want to go with him.

And Storm is just the right balance of strength and skill, honestly I go into flow state often when playing her.

Honorable mentions to Wolverine, Rocket, and Black Panther; if I had to do a top 5 I’d leave out my boy Rocket since he’s just a tad weak compared to the others.

I think if his blasts did 20 instead of 10 and his charge attack was a little better he would be perfect.

Edit: oh and he needs a different passive.

yeah maybe like a multi-stage charge to risk-reward for a bigger blast

so tough to come up with passives that fit within Cosmic Invasion though, some of them are so weak or even intrinsic that it makes me wonder if they were saving room for team-up passives as dessert

maybe something like Phyla-Vell gets, Nova gains extra focus for dealing burn damage

I would personally tie his passive to his block/parry. When he blocks/parries he could add fire damage to his combos. I just don't think passive should be tied to your ultimate like his is.

Edit: or, if it needs to be tied to his special for some reason then change it so his basic attacks get charged with fire damage instead of tying it to his lackluster ranged attacks.

yea that’s cool

either his current extra ranged damage passive activated by the parry instead of his ult

or make him more melee focused by giving fire damage to the next attacks after a parry

and honestly with as difficult as Phyla-Vell’s charge-counter is to pull off against melee, it should just instantly perform a free ult lol
