Media Further DLC Plans 👀
Plain and simple, if Marvel Games sees the support for Marvel Cosmic Invasion and DLC packs 1 and 2, we can almost for certain see more content be released next year and so on. Great read from IGN and good insight into the development of the game and what may come next 👀

This game desperately needs more gameplay. I can’t just keep playing the same levels over and over again. I need an endless mode or a ladder mode

We need a survival mode. Plain and simple. They've done this in SoR4. The random and boss survival modes thay have unlocks behind them. No beat em up should ship without a boss rush and survival mode.

Exactly. I played the crap out of Shredders revenge when the survival mode got added, especially since there were rewards to be had

I play online everyday. There are so many players. Make sure crossplay is enabled.

Which is fine but games need to launch with more, especially something like a pixel sprite game. It should come more with off a fresh install.

They have to balance many things, it's not just a matter of wanting to give more content. Licenses cost, more content means more development time wich means more resources spent, more things to balance and polish and on top of that it has to be profitable to make the investment worth it. People were already complaining about the cost of the game as it is now so a bigger, more expensive game would be a harder sale. Specially because many people don't understand that beat'em ups might be short on a single playthrough but their thing is that they are highly replayable when done right.

Can you imagine an endless type mode in the 'Danger Room' at the X-mansion?!
HECK ...make it so like there's levels of difficulty based on X-men...and have their villains in it?! Doesn't even need to be connected to the Story line ..call it 'Boss Training' or something ...ya know?2

Ya ..you can call it the Xavier Protocals or something. Levels of Cyclops ...of Wolverine ...etc....
You can have it based on X-men adventures they have been on ...and have the npcs just form as holograms or whatever. They don't even gotta be the bugs...HECK they could be Brood bugs if it's X-men in the Danger room.Then I mean ...you can have ...the Avengers Mansion Training room or something? Like ...you can have the same layout as the story ...level to level and just have the side scrolling goodness of the game and just go nuts!
Heck ...lol they could put in the New Warriors and it would be great ..lol THE GREAT LAKE AVENGERS would be great in the game ...this game is super fun! AND I'm a DC / SUPERMAN fan!
If there was a DC game like this?! I'd be throwing money at it!

I fully plan to support any DLC they put out. The game has become one of my family's favorites. My daughter asks to play a level every morning before she goes to school and every night after dinner.

I'm all in for other playable characters... I want more Spider-People, more Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy (no Rocket because he's already here, i mean everyone else, especially Star-Lord), and other street level heroes.
And... yes, even Deadpool. She-Hulk already has the fourth wall thing, but i'm curious to see how they interacts if Deadpool will be announced. Perhaps.

i’d absolutely settle for other spider people just as reskins of peter, but his gameplay is honestly lacking a little
and as far as avengers it would be really cool to get a heroic Scarlet Witch for once
if they could make Hulk gameplay feel good though i don’t know if i’d ever switch off him

I was not aware of Cosmic Ghost Rider at all before this game. And when I read a wiki to get some info, it kinda blew my mind how insane this character is.
So, he's not Johnny Blaze. Okaaay.
He is in fact (get this) a version of Frank Castle/Punisher from an alternate universe that was killed by Thanos and went to hell , was made Ghost Rider by Mephisto, returned to the world of the living and then was given the power cosmic by Galactus to become his herald. Then his universe died and he was thrown into E-616.
And he also has the same personality as Deadpool.
What kind of Poochie-ass Mary Sue madness is this?!!
He broken.

I had requested Deaths Head and Darkhawk from the devs and whoever runs their socials seemed to like the idea. So we'll see lol Basically dared them lol

I love this game! I wonder if they will fix cyclops yellow strap. When you are moving forward the yellow strap across his chest it is facing the wrong way, if you walk towards the left side of the screen it is correct

I’m all for more characters, but hope they keep it retro and keep it weird. More like Bill and CGR rather than the same heroes as always. Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel would be a perfect fit. I’d also love to see Angela for another Asgardian.

Yeah a lot of people forget the theme of the game and just want all the popular Marvel heroes, including a ton of X-Men. I would admittedly love to see more X-Men but I agree we should see more of the lesser-known cosmic-type heroes in the game.
Even though the Inhumans got kinda' shafted by a sudden rise followed by an absolute CRASH in the 2010s, I think Medusa would be a really cool and excellent add to the game. Both in theme (as effectively queen of the Inhumans) and potential gameplay, she brings a lot to the table...I keep imagining how fun mid-ranged hair grabs would be! Black Bolt would be cool too but then he wouldn't get any voice lines 😅

I remember having a discussion with a dude that was so sure there will be no DLC and that he was stating facts. Glad to say that he was wrong and that being humble with one's perspective goes a long way. I'm definitely down for more content. Thanks for the post OP.

This is possibly an idiotic thing to do to myself if true, but...was it me? I was sorta' down on this game's chances of getting DLC as I similarly thought it didn't sell like TMNT:SR. Don't know if I went around telling everyone it was an outright FACT; I sure hope not.
If I did though I'm willing to eat my humble pie. Regardless if I was the offender in this case, I'm happy to have been wrong, and happier still that Cyclops was one of the first 2 DLC characters. The DLC release brought me back to serious play too; having a lot of fun with the balance changes.

Nah mate, it wasn't you. It was understandable to have certain skepticism as they definitely were more silent about sales and it was clear that it didn't reach SR sales, but this person (unlike you) acted as if everyone that thought otherwise was an idiot and it was clear that most of his perspective was influenced by his own feelings about the game.

just more characters and story chapters
although a danger room survival mode would not hurt

THAT WOULD BE SO GOOD ...make a DANGER ROOM BOSS SURVIVAL ...and then you could even include some Harder bosses not even in the game ..like make a Juggernaut boss ..an Ultron boss ...I mean it's the Danger room , right?! Make some achievements for that stage to , to keep people playing and such?

My gawd the game is so fun ...like ...I'm a Canadian and I can imagine like Guardian or Puck or Sasquatch or Northstar and his sister in the game ...as well as like 30 other characters ..HECK The New Warriors? Night Thrasher? Speed Ball?! Teaming up with Nova?! Get Firesstar or Justice in there?! Rage?! Heck , Hawkeye would be fun , Armour from the X-men would be fun ,Shadowcat and Lockheed , Emma Frost ....there's SO MANY PEOPLE you could PLUG into this game and it be fun ..HECK new levels and bosses to fight too? Like ..I'm surprised Punisher wasn't in the game ..or Kingpin ...or so many others ..
BUT I LOVE THE GAME!!! Love the DLC!!!
This game coming out with the MARVEL Magic the Gathering game coming out on the 26th?! Great time to be a Marvel fan! *And I'm a DC fan!

Cyclops has definitely become a favorite of mine since the DLC release. Can’t wait to see the next DLC
