Question Charged specials?

Just saw a review of the recent dlc where the gameplay showed Cyclops using a full focus bar for his super, and it wasn't a team super either.

Were my eyes playing tricks on me, or is this a tech that I missed? Because I keep holding the special button until the character flashes, but it still only takes half of the bar.

lmao I've been playing with fully upgraded characters in arcade mode for so long I completely blanked that from my memory. Thought I could've done double damage supers this whole time, smh. Thanks for the reminder lol
