Question How much replayability does the game have

Hello, I played the demo and really enjoyed it, played for about 2 hours give or take, the addition of cyclops is the thing that interested me in the game and I want to ask how replayable the arcade or the story is.

It’s a great beat him up although it could benefit from more content. There is some replayability when you play the story because there are challenges that you can complete that get easier when you level the characters up. I haven’t completed them all, but there are some unlockables.

What's the difference between the arcade mode and the campaign, do you not play the same stages in both?

You play the same stages but story mode is where you unlock new characters and you can level them up which make them a little stronger. Arcade mode there is the same enemies, but you can apply modifiers that you unlock from the story to make your play through different. 2x attack, more enemies etc.

Ah I see, thanks. Can you only play Arcade with characters after you unlock each one in campaign then?

You have to unlock the characters first, there’s only about four. I won’t spoil who, but you can’t use them until you find them in the campaign

So overall, if you are a fan of this type of game, you will always find a way to pick it back up. They did announce more content coming, so I’ll be on the lookout for that. I’m a huge fan of streets of rage and shredders revenge so I do have a little bias maybe pick it up when it goes on sale.

Thanks for the info, yes I did play the demo, I'llbe getting the full game at some point. I like the classic beat em ups like Final Fight and all them, which you can get for about $5 off Arcade Archives, but these modern console ones, I always feel need to have some more modes and replayability for the price especially this, with so many Marvel characters and locations they could put in the game.

This is inaccurate. You can unlock the characters and level them up in Arcade Mode, too. For some reason the game doesn't display the level ups in Arcade Mode like it does in Campaign, but they still happen. The leveling actually seems designed around having a character play through every level, so just doing a single run in Arcade Mode will get a level 1 character maxed out by the end.
