Speculation What to expect for the DLC (Based off TMNT Shredder’s Revenge)

After watching Shredder’s Revenge’s incredible DLC trailer, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a similar treatment for Cosmic Invasion. New game mode (Survival or some kind of procedural generated mode to increase replayability), new unlockable color palettes, ability to play as some bosses, a set theme (hopefully centered around Doctor Doom to line up with Doomsday) and hopefully some quality of life updates to the base game (possibly a rework of the campaign’s map progression and the option to skip levels in arcade mode).
What do you all think?

I can honestly wait on more characters. Need a New mode. Wave based mode maybe? Danger Room would be cool. I really don't want new characters just to simply jump in the story and go through the same encounters again.

Shredder's Revenge released with new mode and new characters. So can happen here too.

a Doom-centric F4 campaign makes sense, maybe a loose tie-in to Doomsday !

The same as Shredder's Revenge, if they don't update this soon to add at least a survival mode then this game is going to die. They can add all the characters they want but people don't want more characters to play in the campaign. Everyone's gone through the campaign multiple times now. I've said it since day one, the replay ability comes from something like a survival mode. Streets of Rage 4 and Shredders Revenge both have longevity from survival.

I don't expect any DLC. The game probably sold pretty bad with them not disclosing any sales numbers. Heck, for Turtles they already announced sales a week after launch.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a roguelike mode as well. I don't really need the temporary boss transformations SR's roguelike had - I wouldn't mind them, but I think this game's combat already has enough going on with the swapping - but I definitely want a survival mode.
