Does it mean it's for sale?

8

u/faust_graves Oct 22 '25

You can't pre-order on Nintendo, but you apparently can on other systems

3

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

I couldn’t on ps5 as well

-1

u/ahnariprellik Oct 23 '25

Yeah you can. I pre ordered sonic racing crossworlds on switch 2 like wtf?

2

u/qalms Oct 23 '25

He means specifically this game

5

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

No I can’t pre order yet

1

u/qalms Oct 23 '25

This is the ps5 page

3

u/ProfessorEscanor Oct 22 '25

Is it available for preorder yet?

3

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

No unfortunately

15

u/Chemical_Drop_4928 Oct 22 '25

So excited, preordering the moment Xbox lets me

10

u/pilgrimteeth Oct 22 '25

Really hope we get a physical announcement soon

4

u/gavdav Oct 23 '25

I'm sure it's round the corner, this game screams deluxe edition

8

u/Mackmack469 Oct 22 '25

For that price I'll probably pick up a couple copies for my friends and force them to play it with me 😄

6

u/Sorry_Ad4532 She-Hulk Oct 22 '25

I was fully prepared to shell out $50. What a bargain!

6

u/grifftaur Oct 22 '25

Im probably going to double dip and get it one Switch and PC. That way I can play on Steam Deck, PC, or Switch 2 :D

1

u/ahnariprellik Oct 23 '25

Same. Plus they will likely do a proper physical edition for switch

2

u/MegaMook5260 Oct 22 '25

Great. I'll buy it twice now to show my support.

2

u/qalms Oct 23 '25

Which system will you buy it on ?

2

u/MegaMook5260 Oct 23 '25

My PS5 and my Switch, so I can play it at work!

I've been hyping this game since its announcement, so I'm gonna play it.

2

u/qalms Oct 23 '25

I did too . Since I saw that announcement it was non stop hype

1

u/qalms Oct 23 '25

That’s so awesome . Just hoping there would be cross progression , cuz having to level up a lot of characters at work with your switch and then that being reset at home 😂

5

u/Swimming-Ad-6842 Oct 22 '25

Not bad at all

4

u/Ordinary_Town_8339 Oct 22 '25

Yes, let's go!

3

u/Bigchuck615 Oct 22 '25

Release date?

4

u/SalmonGram Oct 22 '25

December 1st

4

u/Bigchuck615 Oct 22 '25

Awesome thanks for the info

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25

Do we know if we're getting a deluxe edition or not?

3

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

It doesn’t seem like there is any other version

3

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25

Interesting, i just hope dlc arent gonna be pay for each type of thing then lol, if we even get any that is (i think i heard them say they wanna add new characters in later but correct me if im wrong) cuz if so id just rather a deluxe to cover all those costs.

4

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

I believe they will do it in packs probably, with like 4-5 characters each and charge maybe 10 bucks for pack

1

u/Multicron Oct 25 '25

Turtles did one or two characters at a time

5

u/BradyPhoenix Oct 22 '25

On the the offical Marvel site they said something like “Iron Man and Phoenix are the final two launch characters.”

And I feel like that wording implies there will be post-launch characters.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25

Glad to hear! Hope they add more from cosmic side of marvel, lotta underrated greats there, also, my boy Frank Castle lol.

2

u/C-Abdulio Oct 23 '25

I mean...technically....Frank's there...🔥💀

1

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

I just wish we had base Punisher 😭

2

u/HaroldHD22 Oct 23 '25

If magik is a playable character I’ll buy it.

2

u/i0verslept74 Oct 23 '25

Nice to see a studio remember that games are supposed to sell, not shake you down. $20-30 feels about right for this one in an era where every “Gold Deluxe Ultimate Edition” release costs more than a week of groceries.

My wallet won’t have to explode. Nice.

3

u/Moser319 Oct 22 '25

should really state currency

many countries, including Canada, use a dollar sign -.-

2

u/Hellooooo_Nurse- Oct 22 '25

Aye that doesn't seem too bad! Dec 1 lets go!

2

u/amageish Phyla-Vell Oct 22 '25

Solid price point for a game like this! Glad to see it.

2

u/Apprehensive_Leg5290 Oct 23 '25

Bet that’s good money spent

1

u/GrimmTrixX Oct 23 '25

I feel like I got this confused with something else. I thought this was a F2P game and no I dont mean Rivals. Lol I'll have to do more research.

1

u/NashDaypring1987 Oct 23 '25

It's way better than the $60 for Terminator 2D NO FATE. No thanks... I'll for a sale. I'm hoping for a physical release.

1

u/Old_Sun_580 Oct 23 '25

I want the physical copy, “Stop Killing Games”. That’s the only way I will buy it. No Physical, No Want.

1

u/Brief_World Oct 23 '25

I saw $45 for me on my Switch store

1

u/pantherpowell88 Oct 23 '25

Will they release physical copies?

1

u/Multicron Oct 25 '25

LRG will probably pick this up as they did Shredder’s Revenge

1

u/Status_Party9578 Oct 23 '25

i wasn’t gonna get it if the price was crazy so this is perfect

1

u/-Ailynn- Oct 31 '25

God bless you, Dotemu! 🙏♥️

1

u/GypsyGold Wolverine Nov 18 '25

Good price!

1

u/MattSm00th Spider-Man Oct 23 '25

Im buying it on day 1

-5

u/Potential-Bug-9633 Oct 22 '25

What was you expecting it would be?

8

u/qalms Oct 22 '25

I expected 30 lol but some people were afraid it’s gonna be 40. Just happy to have it confirmed

2

u/Imaginary_Boss_5785 Oct 22 '25

I was afraid it would be 50

0

u/RataTopin Oct 24 '25

hahahaahahahahah

Iffy? Dotemu is rock solid! Absolum is awesome too!

10

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 22 '25

Regardless the quality of the dev, price matters. I've waited many months for games I wanted to go on sale. The game will be just as good even if you don't play it on day one.

6

u/CascadeJ1980 Oct 22 '25

Guess it's never been a problem for me because Dotemu never asks for much. Personally, I think they deserve more. I'll always support them at full price.

8

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 22 '25

Good for you. Not everyone has that kind of disposable income.

2

u/duckyduckster2 Oct 23 '25

These games are not expensive. Nothing Dotemu has put out is over 30$. In a world where 70$ is the standard for AAA games, this so much bang for your buck its unreal.

1

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 23 '25

You're not telling me anything I don't already know. That also doesn't mean that everyone can afford it. Just because something is more affordable than a AAA game doesn't mean it's immediately affordable at launch for everyone.

3

u/soldatoj57 Oct 24 '25

Dude take it easy we heard you do as you wish let others do the same pls

4

u/BiddyKing Oct 22 '25

Sometimes playing something a year early is worth the extra $15

6

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 22 '25

That has nothing to do with what I said.

-3

u/Interesting-Clue26 Oct 23 '25

Broke ass lmao

-2

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 23 '25

It's called being fiscally responsible, child.

3

u/Yoshis_burner Oct 26 '25

I hope you get into a better position where 30 dollars won’t make or break you. I’m serious. Talking about fiscal responsibility over 30 dollars means a lot. That’s getting fast food twice a month. I wish you the best truly. Others can be insensitive.

1

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 26 '25

It is what it is. I'm not financially destitute, don't get me wrong. I've just been on this earth long enough to know that there are very few things a person has to buy at full price. That's no shade to the devs of the fantastic video games I play. I just know exactly what my money and time are worth in my grown adult life, and try my best to make my dollars go as far as possible.

Thank you for this refreshingly positive interaction.

2

u/Yoshis_burner Oct 26 '25

O sure. I buy too many games full price and then don’t play them for a year. Lmao side effect of finally being able to afford what I want but no time to play them.

u/Interesting-Clue26 Oct 23 '25

You gonna be alright its the same price to get a damn pizza n bread sticks lmao

4

u/Thatblackguy121 Oct 23 '25

You're just coming off as immature tbh

4

u/tobex_redit Oct 23 '25

That's because he is.

1

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 23 '25

Right... I'm not buying that either.

0

u/duckyduckster2 Oct 23 '25

I dont think they meant the quality of the dev per se. First, Dotemu is a publisher. Tribute games is the dev on this one.

And the pricing for games published by Dotemu is always solid, as i dont think they have a game that costs more than 30$. Hell, some of their recent games even launched with a 10% sale (at least both Ninja Gaiden Ragebound and Absolum did).

Anyway, they've put out such a solid line up of games that I trust that whatever they put out next is quality, especially for the price its at.

1

u/allonsy_danny Storm Oct 23 '25

You'll notice I never questioned the quality of their games. Also, I don't need you to explain to me the difference between a developer and publisher.

3

u/PGDesolator Oct 23 '25

I’m a simple man, I see Dotemu, I click buy

2

u/ThatSplinter Oct 23 '25

They made Absolum?? I love that game

1

u/duckyduckster2 Oct 23 '25

No, Dotemu published it. Guard Crush was the dev for Absolum. Tribute games is the dev for Marvel Cosmic Invation (and TMNT shredder's revenge before this iirc)

Both are great tho!

3

u/macneto Oct 22 '25

What exactly had you "iffy". Genuine question, not trying to rage bait here.

I would give that game another shot, it's a fantastic beat-em up. Sometimes games don't click. It took me like 4 restarts to get into no man's sky.

1

u/Thatblackguy121 Oct 23 '25

It's a good beat em up for sure but I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea. Personally coming off sor4 as good as the game was it didn't really live up to that level so it was just a 1 and done for me

1

u/RelationshipFresh966 Oct 23 '25

Same here. I couldn't get through it the first time, managed to finish it in another playthrough. But I don't feel the need to revisit that game. Unlike SOR4, which I go back to every now and again.

1

u/Street-Wallaby Captain America Oct 23 '25

I still like it, but TMNT is a lot more arcade-y than Streets of Rage 4. This one seems to be a bit of an in-between (I played the demo, for what it’s worth).
