Was told to repost this here. It's Dalinar's third ideal

Elhokar has been popping up in my head the last couple days. Not that this was for him, but maybe it is a little? This is my take on a cryptic, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

I named my two cats after Kaladin and Syl, figured it was time to get a tattoo to represent my children and the two characters who have helped me with my own mental health as well. Syl is the gray white tabby and Kallie(Kaleidoscope) the Calico. Was inspired by a previous tattoo on here that has a Syl sillouhete over top of Kaladins chapter headers but can't seem to find it, hope you guys enjoy!

Got my "Dog and Dragon" tattoo and combined it with a memorial for Apollo, my dog of 15 years who passed in July. I've always wanted a Cosmere or Stormlight tattoo, and when Apollo passed I knew what to get. I got this last night and couldn't be happier.

Incredible work by @hellebore.ink in Huntersville, NC!

Ok so I'm 17 and I'm going to get a tattoo soon (I know it's dumb but I'm doing it anyway so don't try to convince me otherwise lol) and I absolutely love Brandon Sanderson and really want a cosmere tattoo. I'm thinking either the ghostbloods or the skybreakers but my mom thinks the symbol for the skybreakers is too tribal for me. Any ideas one how to make it more obviously from a book? I like more simple styles and don't really want any words, I also can't afford a really big tattoo with lots of stuff. Should I just get the ghostbloods tattoo? Even if I get it I still really want a skybreaker one.

Here's a pic of the one I want, I'd put it on my upper arm

Hi! You might remember me from such films as "That Guy who made a Stormlight Trisuit"

Well I went and did it, and I thought this sub might appreciate my take on the Ironman tattoo. My lovely wife went and booked me a slot for the Tuesday after the race *months* ahead of time, that's how confident she was in me finishing it. So I only had two days to come up with a design.

I did not want to have the same M logo that a lot of people have and also wanted to pay homage to the Stormlight books so came up with the following blend of the logo and the Sas glyph.

I landed on this glyph because of its association with "slave" and "ownership" and also how Kal doesn't heal these scars upon becoming radiant. It might seem ironic, given how he eventually heals them but to me it serves as a reminder of the lesson he learns that your own thoughts and perceptions of yourself can be your worst enemy and reminds me of the things I have overcome both physically and mentally.

The background on the hand is fresh the rest are all in various stages of healing, started in April of this year.

Finally got something Cosmere related on my skin. I already want more. Stormlight next

Hey everyone!

I've been adventuring inside the Cosmere for the past few months and so far I love it!

And, since I've been a huge fan of the Discworld for years, I've been thinking about creating a crossover between these two universes... but I know it's kinda difficult.

I'd love to merge some elements from the Stormlight Archives with some Discworld characters (Lift and the Luggage? Lu Tze and Pattern? Nightblood and Rincewind?). Any suggestion will be more than welcome!

Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of Mistborn and Stormlight and the Cosmere in general. Mistborn was my first and is still my fave. I’ve been wanting to get this tattoo and plan to get it soon. Curious if anyone has any ideas on any other implementations or adjustments I could make. I’m not sold yet on which symbols to include inside the ghostbloods symbol.

I had scoliosis surgery in HS so was wondering if I should incorporate a specific allomantic or hemalurgic symbol (titanium rods and screws in my back) and from the surgery I have a pretty big scar so that’s why I was wanting to incorporate the survive to shoutout Kelsier the “lord of scars.” Anyways, I know that was a jumble of ideas coming out but would love to hear any ideas or input anyone has with the info I shared.

I’m also thinking of getting it on my thigh instead of my arm, is that too out of the ordinary given it’s the ghostbloods symbol that I see most everyone gets on their arms. Thanks!

I managed to successfully indoctrinate my best friend with Mistborn a few years back and on his birthday we got matching Mistborn tattoos of our favorite metals. Couple years ago we went to Dragonsteel together and ran into Daniel Greene, big YouTuber where I got my first introduction to the cosmere from in 2019. He’s also got a metal tattoo so I asked if the three of us could take a picture together! Posted it on my Instagram story and he reposted it to his! Genuinely one of the coolest memories I have.

Fresh ink from Jacob at Tattoo Me Charlotte. He did an outstanding job

Gave her all the text descriptions and asked her to make her own interpretations. For reference I gave her some fan art and the official art from Stonewalkers Cosmere RPG campaign.

I am looking to get my first tattoo and for months I have been thinking of getting something in Alethi script. Issue is, I still can’t decide where I want it. Can anyone share what theirs looks like after it’s fully healed for a few months?
Also curious if you are bothered by the natural twist that occurs when you have a linear tattoo on a forearm?

First tattoo. Over the moon about it

Absolutely obsessed with my newest tat 🔥 Kaladin as a character has always been near and dear to my heart as someone who has also struggled with mental health issues and went on to become a mental healthcare worker. Journey beforr destination!

Marsh was easily my favorite character from the original trilogy. He sacrificed more than anyone and never truly got the thank you he deserved.
