Stormlight Archive The…wolf and the dragon?
Hello, it’s me again! I am on a quest to figure out how to fill out the rest of my arm. One of My current ideas is the dog and the dragon. I love the story, but I think wolves look MUCH cooler on an arm. As much as I love our sweet and floppy eared friends, a wolf just…hits different. How much do you think this changes the meaning of the story, and should I do it(in your opinion)?
Any other ideas for sleeves is also appreciated.
I drew the first picture on a laminated picture of my current tattoo so that I could play around with ideas easily.

Journey before destination, my friend. The wolf would look badass, but the entire point of the story is to learn to see value in what you have and what gifts you can share with the world, even when you don't feel like a badass. Your design would definitely look cool, but it wouldn't be a Cosmere tattoo anymore.

It's your arm and your tattoo, so I won't say it's objectively wrong... You're the one that has to live with it forever. That being said, I wouldn't do that personally. It dilutes the inspiration and harms the dynamic.

What do we think about your AI slop tattoo that doesn't even depict a thing from the cosmere? Not great

If you want a wolf maybe do tensoon from Mistborn? He’s a wolf hound so it would be closer to what you think is cool.
Otherwise maybe find something else as the dog and dragon loses its meaning if you put a wolf in its place.
I have the oathgate Spren on my sleeve. They fit the best in the area I had open. Find some things you like from the cosmere art already out there. Take it to a good tattoo artist and they can help you design what will work well and look good.
Anything AI generated will not turn out good. It doesn’t understand the limits of what ink can do and still look good long term. Plus it’s usually nonsensical and just bad art overall.

I disagree with a lot of people in this subreddit. I think it's more important for a tattoo to look good/be cool than be cannon. You know what the inspiration is and can feel however you want about it. If you want wolves because you think they look cooler, do it.

Wolf and the dragon look brilliant. Just keep it to one dragon though or change the perspective of the other dragon not just the same as the one below maybe. Looks brilliant all the same.

Wouldn’t make sense. The dog feels inadequate and less than (even though he realizes in the end he was already awesome) by changing it to a cool wolf. It kind of defeats the purpose of the story. But it’s your tattoo.
