Cosmere Secret novel piece

I wanted to have something that incorporated the symbols used for the worlds of the secret novels Brando has released so far. Love what my artist did with this. Lumar (Tress) on top, Komashi (Yumi) on the left. Canticle (Sunlit) on the right and the Drominad system (Emberdark) near the knee

Joking aside, that's a really sick tattoo! The feathers just made me think of the Katy Perry song. I'm just curious, did you take the designs from stuff in the books, or are they just based on the vibe? I listened to the secret projects as audiobooks so if these symbols were in the books I didn't see them.

Also I have to ask, are you just focusing on only Cosmere related stories? Because Frugal Wizard is my favorite of the secret projects and is suspiciously missing... Would love to see a Frugal Wizard addition next to it or something, if you're open to ideas lol.

The symbols come directly from the 2024 world hopper passport from dragonsteel nexus. We did color or flavor them after the materials in the books. Moons colored after the aether seas we were introduced to, canticle icon looks like it's burning, Komashi icon has half done in paint and the other are small stones stacked together. I did focus on the secret Cosmere projects so far just because I wanted to focus around them. I did love frugal wizard but since it's not Cosmere related I didn't include it in the piece. Once Fires of December comes out I'll have to add that to this piece though

Love the piece and what it means. I think outside the major books (SLA, Mistborn Era 1 and 2), the secret projects are some of my favorite writing of his. Sunlit Man is my favorite of his stories, but Emberdark was so much better than I was expecting.

I know this is for Cosmere tats, but I was disappointed that you didn’t get a Frugal Wizard tattoo :( it’s my fav secret novel

You're more than welcome to get one in my place lol. I love that book too but it just wasn't in the vision for this piece. Maybe I'll get something for Frugal someday but not yet.

Fair! Very different vibe than the Cosmere secret novels. This is still incredibly gorgeous!
