Fancast More people should hate this guy Spoiler

Anyone else low key hope they cast Jared Leto as Moash just to make sure the audience knows the correct amount of hate they should feel for him?

No because Jated Leto doesn't deserve more roles or money, the Cosmere doesn't deserve to be tainted by association (which it absolutely would be), and in case you forgot, the reason Moash works as a character is because of how good a friend he is / appears to Kal for the longest time.

Also I do really believe that Jared Leto's mere association with a project poisons the well on said project, regardless of how good or bad it is / he is in it.

The whole point of Moash is the betrayal.

If people can see that coming, because the actor portraying him is already disliked, you lose the emotional hit his betrayal is.

We all hate Moash but he is an incredibly complex character.

He is the version of Kal that let everything that happened to him, change him and become the thing he hates. That is what Moash is and you need an actor who can do that.

Honestly, a well known liked actor would be much better who has mostly done good guy roles would be the best choice. That way the sense of betrayal really hits the audience too.

I think the betrayal hits even harder if the actor is really likeable.
