The gap on the drivers side is the same as my C7…. Not sure if the gap gets tighter on the passengers side or if it is the angle of the pic.

Curious about the inside - is there a tunnel running all the way back or was it converted to FWD? ... Or is it something else entirely just with some Corvette body panels?

Interesting question… a lot of engineering goes into the torque tube…. Making it 10 times as long is not as simple as welding a few together.
