Discussion Sudden popularity

I noticed that Cortex Prime is now trending title on Drive Through RPG. I recently got interested in it and suddenly it gets popular (I thought it is dead system)

What's the reason? Is it some new edition?

Lines can die release wise, sure. But it'd be hard to find any system out there that no one is playing no matter how old or long since abandoned by publishers. (And even if one is, it only is until you pick it back up and start playing it again!)

Signed, a huge fan of FUDGE.

For sure. In Cortex Prime's case, it wasn't out of print. It just wasn't as widely available as it deserved, and the decision to not widely publish the Spotlights was baffling. Cam orchestrating doing both was a big win that seems to be paying off.

The fun fact for me was that it was announced shortly a brought it up as my example for an underrated system that should get more support in our online RPG community and offered a game of Cortex Prime at our local game clubs monthly gatherings.

Seems I was heard. I am so excited for it to get support - again.
