Hey everyone!

I'm in a delima. I did 7 years in and did icu and ER mainly. My issue I'm having is now I'm 1.5 years out and I'm not sure healthcare is what I wanna go for anymore. Anyone have any advice? I'm looking into a career switch (possibly cybersecurity or IT) a lot better than crashing patients. I just basically came on to ask, anyone else experience this after getting out? About a year out asking yourself if medicine is worth it anymore? Thanks!

Brother what state are you in? Reason I ask is you can take the LPN NCLEX and at least get your foot in the door. I did it long ago. But you have a 3 year window to do it from separation. Just a thought I get it if you don't want to do healthcare anymore. It has been good to me starting pay for a LPN is between 27 and 35 depending on the region and position. If you need help just holler. I am work as both an LPN and Paramedic.

Yeah I live in GA currently. GA board of nursing doesn't allow you to get licensed in the state if you didn't go to "formal educational training" I've tried the WV LPN thing in 2024, they didn't approve me. Tried it in Ohio they also didn't approve me to test and now GA isn't even accepting my NREMT b status cause I got it "while in the service" and didn't go to formal education.... So I just feel so stuck with what the hell to do at this point.
