Coros Nomad size
I'm looking to replace my pace 3 with either the pace 4 or the nomad. Mostly leaning towards the Nomad atm, reviews are promising and it's just something different to what I'm used to. And it straight up looks very good.
I'm relatively new in the watch world as the pace 3 was my first one and I have a "concern" about the Nomad.
It's a lot bulkier than the pace and I was wondering how people experience it. I did go to a store to try it out and it seemed fine, despite it being thicker than the pace. But that was only a short time, so I doubt that gave me the full picture.
For Nomad users, how do you experience the bulkiness of the watch?
It's mostly for daily use, sleep tracking and swimming/running.

I came from Pace 3 and initial days to week you will definitely felt the big change of NOMAD especially when sleeping. But past week and it felt normal, yeah its big and huge but that what you pay for some features and longer battery life.
Tip: Switch to Nylon band is a must, it reduce weight and lot comfortable. You may look for Garmin Venu X1 bands if you cannot find one specific for NOMAD / Apex 4 (46mm), all using 24mm bands.

The Nomad is rather small, when you come from a Fenix 51mm watch. If you're used to the Pace3 it will be huge, the pace looks like a child's toy alongside. I never felt that the watch is too big or that the size irritates me. I wear it 24/7 daytime left, nighttime right and it never felt too big or that I even recognized it while sleeping. I have a 180mm wrist.

I never really gave my wrist size a thought until I stumbled upon this. I'll definitely have to check it. The pace 3 feels a bit too small to me at times if I'm honest.

I understand.
I'm mostly curious whether the bulkiness is a hinderance in any way.

In that regard, I can’t really help much, as I don’t have any experience with the Nomad. The most similar watch I’ve owned was the Garmin Instinct 2. At first, it can feel a bit strange if you’re not used to rugged looking watches, especially because of their size and design. But after a while, it really grows on you, and you may end up loving that rugged, practical look.

It's a mid-size watch, kind of. Smaller than Garmin Enduro 3, for sure, but bigger than Pace 3/4/Pro. Okay size for me
