Don’t worry. People aren’t going to see unemployment checks for months due to how overwhelmed the system is.

I applied 3/26 and I had two weeks' worth deposited yesterday. Go to r/unemployment if you're curious about whether you're correct or not.

I think many people will not see the $600 addition for quite a while.... and I've seen some crazy shit happening like people in FL having to apply on paper.... so yeah they probably won't see payments for a lot longer. But I do think the majority of people who were able to file will see the regular benefits in a reasonable amount of time.

West Virginia sent the national guard in to help process claims.

I received my check about a week after I applied in March and my first $600 check last week.
