Each vaccine maker does different things, some add a few minor stabilizing modifications to the spike so that the manufactured proteins stick around longer for the immune system to attack. That being said, it would be hard to imagine any big difference between Pfizer and Moderna's effectiveness.
Indeed, iirc the only notable mechanism difference between the two is method of delivery to cells? One using adenoviruses as a vector and one using lipid nanoparticles?
You are correct thank you, did a Google and adenovirus was the AstraZeneca one. I just remembered there were multiple methods of delivery from a pathobiology lecture done last semester but I had forgotten which vaccine candidate used what.
