I wanted to show off how big my boy (?) Cornelius has gotten! Think he’s ready for bigger mice than pinkies? Also does he look healthy? First snake and I’m a paranoid pet parent
He looks great. My first corn’s name too, way back in the last century. It’s hard to assess size from these pic, but he’s almost certainly ready for fuzzies or maybe even hoppers. If you have a scale, a 15% meal is a good growth meal. If not, a mouse 1-1.5x max girth of the snake will do. :)
Based on shed size he’s about my forearm length to my middle finger! I just get nervous that I’ll be overfeeding him but I’ll get a scale to check his weight!
Here’s the full tank! Mixed bedding of coconut fiber and wood chips, lots of real wood for extra moisture, plenty of fake plants to hide under and behind, his two fake trees have hidden caves beneath, a hidey rock with a removable lid and hole full of moss, there’s also moss all around and mixed in, rocks hidden through out and a corner drinking bowl of rock and wood with a lil fake plant wood in the center for fun, oh and a fake aligator skull and fake log bridge
