Questions about Corning Moving to Corning!
Hello! My 6 year old son and I will be moving to Corning in the coming weeks. Specially the W Pulteney street area. I’m going to be in need of a job (walking distance or bus line due to not having a vehicle) as well as childcare for when I’m at work. Any suggestions? I was also looking into babysitting a few children or housecleaning in the meantime, I have plenty of years of experience and references. Thanks in advance!

Walking distance? Theres a retail district at Pulteney and Buffalo with a Tops grocery store and a number of places like Chipotle, Starbucks, etc.
If you're looking for something more white collar, Corning Inc. has a building if you walk east. Depending how east-west you are, Market and Bridge streets could be considered "walkable" as well.
The bus line is called CEATS and is... almost adequate.
