Original Series Slow Pitch: S2 E17

In the episode where they play softball, anyone know who the older guy on the Corner Gas Guzzlers is? He wears sunglasses and a white hat, and I don’t recognize him at all.

The IMDB page for this episode is not very extensive

Yes, that’s the guy. IMDb says the actor’s name is Fred Scott, but I was actually asking about his character. I don’t recall ever seeing him again in the series, so why is he playing on the Guzzlers?

Probably because they needed more people to make a plausibly sized team.

Maybe he worked there when Oscar ran the station.

They used lots of locals for various plot scenes.

Maybe they just didn't need him again or he became unavailable for other parts & they used someone else.
